How to get that glow back

  1. Exfoliate, exfoliate and exfoliate! Whether your skin is sensitive or not, you can’t get that glow without exfoliating twice a week. This step is necessary because you want to make sure that all the dead skin cells that have accumulated will be removed. The product I really like is the Josh Rosebrook Active Enzyme Exfoliator. This exfoliator contains some potent plant, herb and fruit enzymes (the ‘chemical’ peel) that gently but effectively remove dead skin cells. It also contains walnut shells to mechanically reveal new glowing skin. Whether you have sensitive skin or not, I’m sure this scrub will work for everyone.
  2. Moisturize your skin, day and night. This step is sooo damn important! You can’t glow if you don’t feed your skin with the right oils and butters. The oil I really like is the Mün No.1 Aknari serum. This oil contains 3 of the most powerful oils; Rose oil, Argan oil and Prickly Pear Seed oil. Because it doesn’t contain any essential oils, my skin reacts very well to this serum and I have found that my skin is less red.
  3. Besides moisturizing your skin, you also need to moisturize your body from within. You NEED to drink water, and lots of it! It’s impossible to get a healthy looking skin without taking good care of your body. If you find it hard to drink only water, try drinking some teas to switch things up a bit.
  4. To fake that glow I really like using a highlighter, even on days when I don’t use any makeup. A really natural looking one that I truly love is the RMS Living Luminizer. This highlighter is oily (due to the coconut oil) and extremly easy to apply. It doesn’t contain any shimmer so it looks extremely natural and you really can’t apply too much, like ever!
